When you are renovating your dream home, using us with a tested process is important to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible,
avoiding unforeseen costs & delays. Through years of experience, we have optimized our building process to ensure that you are involved throughout the project,
know what to expect and have clear lines of communication. Every project is unique and has some differences in the process,
but we always start with our core process steps.
Consultation & Design Brief
OneTeam renovations meet with you to discuss your project, requirements and
expectations. We provide an overview of the services and address any initial
questions you may have.
Site Inspection
On-site meeting with you to discuss your property, block slope, ideal building
orientation and any restrictions/limitations that you will encounter.
Design Meeting & Estimate
We review the initial plan and make any adjustments, then go through your options
in different areas (finishing, fixtures etc.). From this, we are able to establish a ballpark cost and see if that is in line with your budget or whether further design changes are required.
Agreement Documents
The initial drawings are presented along with budget & costings for your approval before any further work is done on the design or any building commences.
Final Design
Working with you we finalize the design based on the initial working drawings. Here we cover all aspects of the design, inside & out, to create the dream home that fits within the specified budget.
Signing Contracts
We present all final drawings including necessary engineering and land surveys
along with a contract to be signed before we begin construction. Our contracts are
easy to understand and use the Housing Industry Association (HIA) standards
Construction
All of the plans come into effect during this building & construction phase. Our team works hard to meet specified timelines and provide excellent workmanship, and will provide you with regular communication throughout the building process.
Handover
Your dream home is ready and you are given the keys! We follow up with you to make sure that you are happy with the fantastic result.
